Alan, this is getting ridiculous now. I've been extremely patient with you guys. I'm tired of no one caring about money that is owed to us (a paying customer) Rocio & I purchased the Jeep Compass on Friday 5/4/18 We then came back the following day and resubmitted the loan through Capital One Soley because the interest rate was lower & because their weren't requiring a down payment . Dennis, was clear about the expectation regarding the refund of our down payment & when we should expect to receive it. He said it would take "up to 3 weeks" to receive our refund. Dennis said he emailed corporate & requested the refund, but since in was the weekend he may not get a repknse back until the next business day, which would of been Monday 5/7/2018. Dennis was leaving for vacation the incoming week but ensured us his partner
would finish the loan paperwork with us.
If the refund request was submitted to corporate on 5/5/18 & the request received by corporate on 5/7/18 . Today(6/9/18) would be the 32nd day. 32 days is welll past the 3 week period we expected to receive our refund. The most concerning factor is no one knows, nor is showing us any urgency, to simply reach out to your "corporate office" and find out what the status is. I've called 5 times between the 21 day (3 week expected delivery time) through tkdqy and I get the run around each time. I'm told I don't know anything about it , but someone will call me back .. yet no one ever does. Your management team is unwilling to give me a phone number or email, allowing me to contact Hertz Corporate directly. Instead I've been told by a member of your finance team that "it's coming, You just need to wait it out". This is $1500 we're taking about,. I need a number for corporate or I need someone over there to pretend like they give a shit, pick up the phone, send an email, send s telegram, text message , or instant message someone qt corporate that deals with customer refunds. Then reply back to me today with an answer . Their has to be a direct phone number and or email to contact "Hertz Car Sales" accounts payable. I don't want to hear any more excuses . I want my money and I want to know when I can expect the $1500 check to be mailed & delivered. I will call you at today @ 11am to follow up. Please get with Dennis or whoever you have to in management to find me an answer. Alan I know that this is not your fault. Unfortunately, you sold us the car and are the salesman's that we built the relationship with. The sale may be complete on your end , you were paid your commission , Dennis was paid his commission and Hertz Car Sales sold a unit and received their$13,000 check from Capital One. We're the only one in this equation that is still out $1500. Dealerships will bend over backwards and do anything to get you in a vehicle, but once a vehicle is sold, financed and everyone gets paid . The general consensus & industry standard seems to be..." ring the bell& on to the next customer."
