Was in Charlotte 1 night for work, and I had a pleasant stay at this Sheraton.
Location: 3.75/5 Very close to the airport, but not super far from downtown either (about 15 minutes drive). Nothing much to do in the nearby vicinity though.
Room: 4/5 My room was very clean. I could walk around barefoot and the carpet/tiling did not make my feet feel grubby. The room was also on the larger side, which was nice after being cramped in an airplane all day. My only minor gripe is that there was a desk, but no desk chair, so I ended up having to do this awkward squat to work on my laptop.
Amenities: 3.75/5 They have a breakfast buffet in the morning for about $13. The spread was pretty standard (scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurts, sausages, bacon etc) and on par with the breakfast foods served at some Club lounges at other hotels.
I saw there was an indoor/outdoor pool which looked clean/fun to relax in. There's vinyl door flaps separating the pool from the inside to the outside. Bummed I didn't have the time to pretend to be Shamu and swim through those flaps! ;D
