  • It's sad that a few other people review this diner so harshly. Joe has a heart of gold. This is scratch cooking. Not fancy but pure whole food done diner style. His fresh buttermilk pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had. The hostess is lovely. She's autistic and Joe has given her a wonderful opportunity for her to learn, grow and work. There should be more community restaurants like this with people who care but aren't caught up in anything but good food, great values and good people. Thank you Joe. Your restaurant is a Phoenix institution and will be for years to come! Go get yourself some pancakes!
