How not to treat your prospective customers!! Made appointment with Tina Waller to look at a Ford Edge on Thursday at 12 noon.
As I arrived at the front door I was greeted by a large overflowing garbage can that was easy to see had not been touched for days. Then, as I walked through the door it was very easy to see the large dust balls cluttered under the showroom cars. Wow, what a first impression.
When I asked the receptionist for Tina, much to my surprise, I was informed it was her day off. Would have been great to tell me that before we made the appointment Tina.
As I started to leave, I was told by who appeared to be a manager of some type that he would get someone else to wait on me. Now to my startling surprise, when he asked three salespeople if they would take care of me, they actually argued in front of me about how they would not help me because I was Tina's customer and they were not going to help her. Really guys, you are doing this right in front of me?
I told them to forget it as I was leaving. Then after I had walked out the door, a young salesperson chased me down to tell me he would show me the vehicle I came in to see. Guess what? The entire time he showed me the car and during the test drive, he talked about how bad the other salespeople are.
I am purchasing a Ford from Sanderson Ford.
