This place gets a three star because of the waitress who took care of me. From the beginning I asked questions regarding the famous adobo omelette. I ended up ordering it and opted out for the red velvet mini pancakes.
The adobo omelette was a huge disappointment. Given, the owners are Filipino, the adobo was horrible. Filipino adobo is based on, garlic, vinegars and black pepper with a touch of soy sauce. This omelette tasted more like shredded chicken over rice and tossed in Kikkoman Soy Sauce! Tasted exactly just that! I couldn't even proceed to eat it even after adding ketchup!
The server asked how I was doing and told her I didn't want to eat the salty soy sauce chicken omelette and she offered me something else. I told her I would pay for it and to get me the loco moco. I have to admit, the gravy on the loco mock was good. I paid extra for the garlic rice and the patty on the loco moco tasted good as well!
Service provided made the experience well after a bad start. When back in the area, I will be back to try something else on the menu. It seems like their pancakes are the actual business.
