| - Hate to say this, but I was really underwhelmed with Glamsquad 702's makeup application. James, the owner, came to do makeup for me (I was the bride), my mom and best friend on my wedding day. He left a bunch of black powder under my eyes (fallout from the eye shadow), which created a "dark circle" effect under my eyes. My eyeliner was uneven. My lipstick didn't completely fill my lips. He asked me if I liked it, but I was so lacking in confidence with him, that I just told him it was fine and then fixed it myself after he left.
He did the same thing to my bridesmaid. He used blue-toned eyeshadow on her, which was actually a gorgeous choice because she has beautiful blue eyes, but so much of the blue shadow fell under her eyes, that she also looked like she had dark circles.
My mom, however, looked amazing. I've never seen her look brighter. She requested very light, natural makeup and James did an amazing job on her. She looked really fresh.
No complaints about my hair. The stylist was Amanda, and she left me looking elegant in a beautiful, curly faux hawk. The hair didn't budge all night.
Overall, the service was disappointing for the price. My sister-in-law went to the Mac counter at the mall to get her makeup done, and she looked better than me.
