  • I was so excited to check out this place, but it fell short of my expectations. For the record, I'm comparing my experience here to kids cafes abroad, in addition to Fun Lane Indoor Play (also underwhelming) and Urban Jungle in Phoenix (which was great). What I liked: 1. Ample space for kids to run and play 2. Two bathrooms accessible from the play area (I've seen that sometimes you have to exit to take your child potty). 3. Small trampoline was nice for jumping, but accommodates two children at most. What I didn't like: 1. The price: $12 for the first child ($10 for the second) for an all-day pass. The lady working there graciously allowed me and my friend to pay together, which meant we each paid $11. I would have liked an hourly option for those who don't want to spend all. day. long. there. or those who come in the evening, like we did. 2. The toys: Everything here was worn out and didn't seem particularly clean. Many of the balls in the ball pit were squished; the Thomas the Train needed a new battery and ran sluggishly. The toy kitchen was missing most of the accoutrements. Most of the toys there were very cheap: I'm used to seeing quality items at kids cafes like Melissa and Doug, but everything here was on par with what you would acquire at a yard sale. 3. Un-involved employee: The employee who was on duty there spent most of her time chatting with a friend. I saw her pull out a Clorox wipe to clean a toy exactly once. I'm used to seeing staff spend their time engaging with the children who are there to play, as well as cleaning up and keeping the toys organized. She didn't do either and I wasn't impressed. 4. The bathrooms: Neither bathroom had a child potty (more common abroad) or a stool for littles to use to wash their hands. Doors to the bathrooms did not have child locks, which means kids can wander in there while playing. Keep a close eye! 5. Large TV: The TV right by the door was an annoyance to me because if I'm going to pay $10+ for my child to pay, the last thing I want is for them to sit around watching cartoons.
