  • Basis for my starred ratings (which skews heavily to the food or drink): 1 star: Never again. 2 stars: Poor food, poor experience, extraordinary measures in order for me to come back. 3 stars: Average, nothing really special, nothing particularly bad. 4 stars: Very good, would definitely return. 5 stars: A favorite, one of the best. I like this place a lot. Ordered a taro snow with plain mochi and condensed milk (always get condensed milk.) The texture of the snow is good. The flavor of the taro is quite good. It's definitely sweet, but not sickeningly sweet. The mochi were perfect, really soft. All told, it was refreshing and worth the wait for it. This may be the best Taiwanese shaved ice in the Valley. It compares really well to shaved ice out in California.
