I'd kind of like to just leave that up there as the review, but Yelp says it's too short, so I'll add some details.
They didn't have mattresses. They just put sheets on the box springs.
I used to stay here about 4 times per year because I do work in the Cleveland area quarterly and it's a convenient, cheap stop. Now, the place was never awesome, but before my most recent visit (April 2017) they were at least adequate for my needs (functional WiFi and a bed). I would've gone with 3 stars, but then this most recent visit happened.
They didn't have mattresses. They just put sheets on the box springs. I keep repeating this because I'm in disbelief.
The room (Room #5, I believe) smells like construction and drywall. The laminate flooring is grainy with dirt and badly in need of a mop. The room really looks like someone drove a vehicle through the window and they did a super-cheap job of repairing it. There's a big dent in the floor itself under the window and the dent wiggles if you walk on it. The AC unit is functional but broken - something rattles so loud the AC sounds like a tractor trailer engine. And I think I mentioned something about there being no mattresses, just sheets on the box springs.
Funny thing is, they have a big banner hanging outside their office advertising their brand new beds. I guess it isn't false advertising. The box springs did feel new, and TECHNICALLY speaking the mattresses weren't old (because they weren't even there).
As far as food goes, there's a McDonalds right across the parking lot, you don't even have to cross the street... I'm not really a fan of McDonalds but for convenience you can't beat that.
Also, the sheets were clean. Too bad they were just covering the box springs.
