  • This DoubleTree is located at the Johnson & Wales campus just north of Uptown in Charlotte, NC. It's an interesting location. It's about a mile walk to Uptown. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. If you want anything nearby, there isn't much. My friend and I checked in and we got delicious warm chocolate chip cookies. The room was nice and very comfortable. Everything was clean and in working order. The hotel was quiet, no loud events. The restaurant/bar downstairs looked nice but a little pricey. I didn't use many of the other amenities but I was pleased with the hotel. The service was friendly enough.
