I'm reviewing this place again because of the change in ownership. Having read some of the latest yelp reviews I've decided to eat at this place again really because I was craving my favorite dish from here, Hawaiian Roast Pork. I ordered the mixed plate, my two choices were the Furikake Chicken & Hawaiian Roast Pork, the other members of my party had 1) Loco Moco 2) Chicken Katsu 3) Furikake Chicken. For appetizers we had a full order of Poke Combo the types were 1) Hawaiian style 2) Furikake 3) Sesame Poke and two orders of Cucumber Kimchi. For dessert we had 1) Haupia Cake 2) Guava Cake 3) Coconut ice cream. These are all dishes we've eaten here many times before and we all agree they've remained the same. The amount of food was still the same. The prices to us were the same, reasonable, it's not like we looked at the prices and thought "wow this is expensive". The staff was the same, friendly and welcoming people we've been waited upon in the past. The place was going through an expansion process. Apparently they're going to knock out the wall to make the dining room bigger, which should help because this place gets really crowded. I just hope they also expand the kitchen too because more customers means you gonna need more cooks. So my take on the change in ownership is so far, everything is still the same, but how the new owners go from here is full of possibility. Still a five star and still the place recommended to anybody that asks me "So since you're from Hawaii were is the best place to eat Hawaiian food in Las Vegas?" I'll still say Island Flavor.
