  • My mom and I were walking around the mall yesterday and this blonde saleswoman comes up to us, hands us little "sample" bags, and drags us in to a decidedly empty store. The stools were white vinyl and dingy looking. The lady had a plastic disposable swatch in a cup, just one mind you, and once she used it to put some product on my mom's arm, she wiped it off with a dry cotton ball and put it back in its cup. Disgusting! The product itself was gooey, sticky, and looked like agar. To "demonstrate" it, she rubbed into her arm hard enough to where her normally pink skin turned pale white. My skin often acts the same way; I press down, it turns white. The products the woman showed us were basically glorified, $200 moisturizers. When I decided that I'd had enough of this lady's oily tactics, I told her that we might come back later (I had no intention of going back). The woman ignored me and then dragged us over to the cash register. She "discreetly" pulled out a brochure (there were stacks of them near the register) and told us she'd give us a "deal". She would tell us how much one product cost. She proceeded to whip out a calculator and typed "49" into it. I looked at the woman again and told her we would come back later. She then asked me how old I was, so I told her. I'm sixteen, but I know an oily salesperson when I see one (mind you, I omitted that last part). The woman acted surprised and said that I didn't need to use the product, then turned all of her powers of persuasion onto my mom. Was I not clear? Did she simply not hear me the first few times? We were able to leave soon after when my mom snapped out of the woman's comestic "spell". Soon after we left, my mom's skin became it's normal pink and she said it itched and felt weird. Hypoallergenic my butt. Basically, this place is unsanitary, the saleswoman (whose accent I could barely understand) was as bad and manipulative as a used cars salesman, and the product looks gross and cheap. Do NOT come here! It's a complete waste of time and money.
