  • We stopped to see what all hype and fuss was about...one review says extra money to pick your own donuts another review mentions nothing about it. A review says that no fresh donuts at 5:30 am but other reviews say so many people, so many choices. So, yes, there is a $3 EXTRA charge chances for picking your own donuts. Don't be shocked at the $17.50 price tag on 12 donuts. Clearly 5:30am and 9:45pm fall into the 26 & 27th hour on the 9th day because there are very few options and what there is doesn't look fresh. The one positive was friendly customer service. The girl working knew there weren't a lot of choices so she offered to make us a fresh one in the back of whatever she could. Although very thoughtful, that indicates a cake donut, generic icing and then either a dollop of fruit or a smash or cereal or candy toppings. I can do better than that at home for much less $. My Twix donut has special batter, filling and chocolate shell....Now that might be worth $17.50 a dozen. Heading home to make donuts.
