I had an Saturday afternoon appointment with Jami. I reviewed his "credentials" online so I trusted his competencies. What a mistake. Throughout our appointment, he allowed himself to be constantly distracted by the phone/other clients. The end result did not adhere at all to our initial discussion - I came in with a bob-style and left with a lopsided, mushroom/mullet style.
I went back to the salon a few days later, expressing my discontent. As Jami had taken so much off, it wasn't even possible to repair, so I asked for at least a partial refund. Rather than seeking a solution, he replied that I should have contacted him sooner. When I pointed out that the salon was closed Sunday and Monday he sarcastically responded "we have answering machines." I was very surprised by his lack of tact and sudden change of demeanor.
Anyone who expects a designer-style haircut for this price (+$100) is better off going to a barber for a fraction of the price. The cut was not a reflection of Jami's advertised talent. I left feeling deceived.
