  • One day, my boyfriend and I were really craving canh chua, which is Vietnamese sour soup. A quick yelp search led us to pho sing sing! Now, whenever he comes to visit me, we always make sure to get some canh chua. It is just the right amount of tartness that awakens your palate and makes you want to come back for more. We've also had the ca kho (braised catfish) and house special wings. The ca kho was a little too salty but if you eat it with the soup like they traditionally do, it's all good. I actually really liked the wings and the sauce they had for it. But I did not feel like the price was right for the amount of wings you got. I am taking a star off because every time we've gone now, things are a little different. It's never consistent. Sometimes rice comes with the soup on the house. Sometimes rice is an additional order. Sometimes they like giving you the nuoc mam (fish sauce) and garnishes on the side. And sometimes you don't get a side of garnishes. LOL but my boyfriend and I like this place so much that it doesn't matter, and we like to think that this restaurant is just keeping us on our toes.
