A decent church to attend mass at the north end of the strip when you're in town and need to go.
Easy to get to because of it's location, and there is plenty of parking.
My wife has been coming here for years on their annual family Vegas trips in the past, and she mentioned how it seemed to start looking run down lately. I can't imagine how tough it is for a Vegas parish to consistently get a solid number of local parishioners. The place seems like it caters to the visiting masses on the regular, but I definitely pray for the community that it grows and thrives and continues to provide us and those who are seeing some spiritual sanctuary. The church has some beautiful sculptures of the stations of the cross.
Our cantor for the last mass we went to a while back sounded like an old Tony Bennett; great voice and played piano and I was almost expecting a "If you would like to hear more, I will be at the Moonlight Lounge Monday through Friday at 8PM." he he he.
But again, it was a good mass and definitely coming back on future trips.
