Called to book and their systems were down. Tried to accommodate us without the system and confirmed us a massage time. We got ready and were about to leave, called us back and cancelled telling us the paper schedule was confusing to read and they made a mistake. Rebooked for 2 days later. On the way to the massage we were in a car accident and didn't make the massage. They charged are card the cancellation fee. When I called to discuss the fee, I was told that I had to wait for a manger to call back. Waited over 24 hours for a return call. Manager stated that they needed proof of the accident to reverse the charges. I understand that companies have policies to protect themselves but this is excessive. The whole experience was a mess and they could have used this as an opportunity to make us into regular customers. Its not about the charge its about how they handled the situation. They cancelled on us we cancelled on them. How about you work with your customers and find a resolution. If they had offered for us to come in for our massage at a later date and they would apply the fee to the cost of the massage, I would have gladly accepted that. I will go elsewhere and recommend that you do too.
