| - I just don't know what to say. they can't get it together, I had heart surgery on Dec. 27 th and my follow up appointment was Jan 2, I went in and they couldn't verify my insurance, I said let's reschedule, and the girl made my appointment for Jan 18, (That's long ways away) to be check by De. Batres. The first time I meet Dr. Batres he asked me about my medication and I told him, I told him that I stopped taking one medicine because it depleted me of all my potassium and my previous Dr. did not mention that to me. This is what I said to Dr. Batres to let him know why I stopped taking it. His response was, and I quote...Listen, Miss Rico, it is not this offices fault for what other Dr's do or neglect to do. (I'm thinking how dare you to speak to me this way, this Dr. has a lot of nerve, but I let it go, then I have to deal with the admin part of the office and these girls are something else, rude, pushy and I had called on Saturday and on Monday & Tuesday and Wed. to let the Dr. know I was having issues, dizzy, shortness of breath, and a major lump and bruising near the surgery site, and all they cared about was my insurance, as long as they get paid they don't care if you die, I left them another message letting them know I don't care which of my insurance they used, I have two and they somehow obtained one of the insurances without my permission, and when I questioned them about it, they accused me of Insurance fraud. I have two insurances, one they have been using since inception and one I just received. I pay for both insurances out of my own pocket, so I don't get it. Finally, I said I don't care about the insurance, I need to talk about my post-surgery issues, Dr, Batres has not even called me back and I let the original message 5 days ago on his service, Dr. Yelamanchili said he would get it handled and not one phone call...5 days, they called me about my insurance and they got paid, but they still have not addressed my bruising and the lump in my arm. So now I have to find a new Dr. because I guess they don't care about me.
Dr. Batres calls me today to explain my insurance and refused to address my arm that is swollen and black and blue, he did not tell me to come in and he was so rude. I told him I won't bother him again and hung up the phone...so arrogant, they don't even care to see me - post op from surgery, I have to find a new doctor. yikes
