Red, WIne & Brew is my favorite stop for libations in the Cleveland area. I haven't found anyplace else around that matches their wine and beer selection. If you can't find what you're looking for here, odds are you won't be able find it anywhere in the state of Ohio. I've even seen some of favorites from my time in Sonoma that don't show up on shelves in a whole lot of other places (Red Car, Pedroncelli, etc.)
I like beer, but wine is beverage of choice. They get cool new stuff in on a weekly basis and their WIne Manager, Alex, is a fantastic resource for helping navigate their huge selection. He knows the kind of stuff I like and has convinced me to take home more than a few bottles I wouldn't have given a second look otherwise and I found myself being thankful that I'm easy to sell to! There was two slightly sparking wines from Portugal that were very drinkable that I got my dad hooked on as well, a German white wine (Hexamer) that is made from pinot noir/burgundy grapes, and I'm currently losing a staring contest with a bottle of white that looks like a jack-o-latern face that has a beer cap on it and yeast in the bottom. If you like to try new wines that are a little off the beaten path ask Alex what he's got that is new and interesting.
I've also gotten great recommendations for more standard wines as well. If I ask for nice Russian River or Sonoma Coast Pinot I'll get a few solid options to fill the empty spots on my wine rack.
I've always had consistently positive experiences here. If you're big into exploring beer or wine and you're shopping somewhere else, you're doing it wrong.
