I wonder why after I scheduled my daughter for wisdom teeth extraction way out in November, and I called to reschedule for sometime during Christmas Break, I spoke with Yvonne and was told that they could schedule us that far out, but there would be no guarantee there would be a doctor available on that day. That they only schedule six weeks out at a time. I hung up and then realized that our original date IN NOVEMBER is way more than six weeks out.
I called again and spoke with Chef. He was very nice and politely rescheduled us for late December.
I asked him if there was a rationale to Yvonne's response just moments before our phone call, and he had no explanation.
I asked to speak to an office manager. Got transferred to a generic voice mail. No name or recorded out going message.
Hummmmm.......
I think I'm grateful that the front office staff isn't responsible for doing procedures, but it sure doesn't fill a Mom with great trust and confidence.
And here's my update::
Their front office staff are rude and Ill informed. When you tell them where the error is in their thought process, they laugh like it's all funny.
We made our appointment in August for a December surgery. They called a week ago to say that day was overbooked and they want to reschedule for the following week. (01/02)
Ok, it's still Winter break and there's time to recoup. Then today they call to say they're no longer taking Medicaid for children and they're sorry.
So now I have to start all over to find a surgeon who can help us.
I don't even for a second believe they didn't cancel our 12/27surgery so they wouldn't have to accept the lower paying fee for service program that was in effect for the original surgery date.
