  • This public review is so long overdue, however the reason for that is quite simple; there was no such thing as "yelp" online when our association with St Francis Animal Hospital began. The extraordinary service Dr. David Drake and his team have provided to our family over the past 25 years is nothing short of miraculous. Long ago when we first met, "yelp" was the sound one of our animals would make until they received the exceptional, through loving care and attention provided by Dr. Drake. Thru good times and bad he has tended to six of our dogs over the past two and a half decades. Four of them, long since have passed over the "rainbow bridge", however their long healthy time with us may be attributed in great part due to the outstanding care and attention provided by Dr. Drake. When we look back on the lives of Poncho, Fang, Lucy and Tally each one of them lasted well beyond the life expectancy for their particular breed. We know we have Dr. Drake to thank in part for helping to achieve those results. His sound judgment, medical knowledge and genuine dedication related to all aspects of animal healthcare has been greatly appreciated by us. We don't know of another provider who has repeatedly shown such dedication to the care of four legged family members. Our two current canine angels Baily and Betsy continue to receive the best of care. His deep understanding and proactive approach to animal healthcare continues to ensure they will experience full healthy lives. Whether it is routine vaccinations, annual check ups or proper dental cleaning we know we have, can and always will depend on Dr. Drake for his medical expertise. We've have referred others to Dr. Drake over the years; he is one of the finest veterinarians found anywhere. True to the namesake of St Francis Animal Hospital, "for it is in giving that we receive", Dr. Drake and team have given so much to us.
