  • I want to start by saying this Val Vista location is the picture of excellence in customer service. Every time I even call this location needing help employees go out of their way to help me. Yesterday on New Year's Eve I was installing some blinds. One of the blinds had a factory issue with it. I went into exchange it. The employee made it super easy for me to exchange. I gave him the old blind when I walked in and got a new one. He compared numbers and said OK you're good to go. It took no more than three minutes. Then last night at dinner with a friend I was telling her about my experience. She said she's gone to that same Home Depot on Val Vista and had the same customer service. In her case she was looking to replace a birdbath that had been covered in mold. The store did not have a new one in stock so two employees did a search on Amazon and found it for her. Home Depot did not make any money from this transaction but found a replacement for my friend. This tells me that the Home Depot on Val Vista in Gilbert values its customers so much that they will do anything to help them find what they need.
