  • Road Trip Summer 2016 We already had a few macarons, but I have no self-control when it comes to sweets. Plus, I desperately needed a break from chasing my daughter. Damn, that girl doesn't stop running...and she runs fast! At least she settled down for five minutes to share one scoop of strawberry cream gelato with me. Light. Sweet. Delightful. I wanted two scoops, but decided against it since my toddler was already racing up and down the stairs in St. Mark's Square a hundred billion times (even before the macarons). It was time to take it easy on the meth...err, I mean, sugar. Total: ~$6
