  • I was here in the holiday season when they didn't do guided tours but had docents placed throughout the house. I felt like they were too eager to interact with me, and it frustrated me after a while. Even the docent/guards in the museum buildings were eager to strike up conversations. I'm sure most people would find it pleasant, but I prefer to keep to myself in most museums, and it seemed like once I had gotten one docent off my back another was there. Their enthusiasm was wonderful, but unfortunately for me it was not contagious.
