Everything on their menu is amazing. The portions are generous too. Most of the staff are courteous and professional, just a small percentage aren't. The decor is very 1980's, but I love it. Gives a vintage feel. The restaurant is very clean.
The only issue I ever encountered was when I was pregnant and requested a booth because I had terrible leg problems. The hostess said there weren't any available. I asked if we could be seated in the corner area. She said that space is only open on weekends. She did apologize for the inconvenience and shared her empathy. However, instead of seating us back into the waiting area after waiting 10 minutes already, she could have said 'let me talk to a manager to see what I can do.' Now, perhaps this is my fault for not requesting a booth in the first place, but I was 38 weeks and tired.
I understand they have this area blocked for a reasons unbeknownst to me, but one could clearly see a very pregnant in need of more comfortable seating. It's not like I was requesting the booth just because I just wanted, I had a NEED for it.
Other than this issue, Armstrong's is a wonderful place to get some great Italian food.
