This company is the worst. They have their heads so far...well you know. My house property has a cable box unit in the front corner of it and it is in the way of me parking my box trailer on the side of my house where I have an RV parking and gate. I called 3 different times in about a 3 week period trying to get the box relocated or buried under the ground in an underground unit and all 3 times I was assured it would and could be done. Well, it of course did not get done and resulted in my ex-neighbors son driving over it and destroying the box. I called again to notify them what had happened and again I was told it would be taken care of. Of course it didn't get taken care of. So, since now I had nothing really to see that I could avoid when backing my trailer in...I ran over the thin pole that had all the lines running to it and caused people to be without cable for a while. This caused Cox to send out a technician that repaired the unit, but when I asked him if he could bury it in a box similar to that of an irrigation box, he said no. It would cause corrosion on the terminals he said. That's funny, since I was told 3 times it could be done by associates on the phone and the cables all ran under the ground from this unit to all the houses in the area. Anyway, now they are trying to bill me over $1000 for the repair that took 15 minutes and I even offered to dig the hole. I just received today 5/7/18 a notice from an attorney saying I must pay the amount in full in 10 days or I will be sued. Such a horrible company and not worth the money as most other reviews have said. Centurylink is cheaper and much more reliable. Oh, and Centurylink agreed to bury their box unit which is located in my back yard.
