rev:text	ED charged a level 5 of almost $1900 (just the physician's charge separate from the ED/hospital) for a simple visit. The doctor spent 5 minutes, no one was caring or attentive to our needs. Terrible service and I question if the charges are fraudulent. After appealing I got a letter that "...the amount of time the doctor spends in your physical presence is not relative to the charges." Well then explain to me how a doctor does a full history, review of systems, physical exam in that amount of TIME? He is billing for a service NOT rendered even if he documents so (ie documenting something he did not perform or ask).
