  • Are my friends cheap? I am beginning to think so for during my recent trip to Scottsdale, I was invited to more happy hours with REALLY cheap prices and pretty great food. And Stingray was no exception. Located in a mall (what isn't in this part of Scottsdale?) the happy hour here features half off rolls, specialty drinks and cheap wine all served in a contemporary environment. And here's the kicker . . .it is EVERYDAY from 2:30 - 6:30! I don't know how they do it but I am glad they do for you can get out of here with a full tummy for about $20! Good thing the alcohol is on the inside of this place for if you drank first and then had to figure out where the door was, more people would be standing around. Check out the picture I posted . . .I think we seriously looked at this wood wall for several seconds before realizing how to open the door! We took a seat at the sushi bar and had great service from not only the sushi chefs but from a server as well. Know that only the basic rolls are discounted but those are easy enough to fill up on. We also ordered a couple of their specialty rolls which were also really tasty! If you are clever, you can park in the parking garage and if you come out the right door- you are very close to the entrance. There is also a nice patio area here as well. Check it out. You wallet and your stomach will thank you!
