| - Bad experience. I was told both x-rays and MRI of right hand could be done on site and was actually preferred to outside images. Saw a PA, who did not listen about prior hand injuries to same hand. She repeatedly cut me off mid-sentence. Then said she doesn't listen to and doesn't care what the ER physician diagnosed me with...possible stretched or torn ligament on right hand, with need for cast, when I asked if she could access and look at ER records and diagnosis. Then took me a week and two attempts by SimonMed imaging (not usual) to get the hand MRI. I traveled 82 miles from South of Phoenix to see Dr. Fitzmaurice and his PA. The office knew this, as I spoke to the office manager. The PA is very flippant, disrespectful of both patients and other members of medical team, including MD's. Giving a PA a license to practice medicine after 2 years has ruined our medical system, and we have good insurance, United Health Care, State of AZ, employee benefits. Frightening and very disheartening. And I come from a medical family (physician, nurse, dental hygienist, dentists, pharmacists).
