  • You want to know what character is? Like real characters? Like 75 years of old school Las Vegas charm? This is it. The El Cortez. The last stand of when the town was way more fun, mobbed run, payouts were big on a low risk gamble, comps were given out freely as a kind gesture that the Casino can get there money back by keeping you at the hotel. This ain't the strip with the go go dancers and smoke mirrors that just to take your money and can't win any back. This is an honest straight up gambling establishment, no shows, no djs, no nightclubs, but a chance if you're willing to risk it, you can win big here! Plus they just feed you free drinks nice and stiff to get you liquored up so it's up to you to "roll the dice" big risk or not. Also the best part are the rooms are also cheap like a $17 resort fee $40 security deposit something like that?...so you can spend more money on food at Siegels 41 and gambling. Anyway don't expect any of that new shit on strip. This is old school Vegas...which you'll see at the El Cortez. I hope it never changes!
