I had a bad experience here. I see all these great reviews and I feel like the other side needs to be given.
Like many I'm terrified of dentists. I waited a really long time to go to the dentist because of it. But I had a broken tooth and it was giving me some pain and needed to be fixed. My coworker recommended this place. I called and was assured they did root canals. I booked my appointment.
When I came in the hygienist told me they don't do root canals on my tooth. I was perplexed because the receptionist told me they did. The hygienist was condescending with me. He knew I was upset and kept talking down to me. He asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment. After I'd already taken half a day off work to come in?! I said no, let's do the cleaning.
As I mentioned, it had been a long time. He was very good and gentle with the cleaning but the entire time gave a condescending lecture about tooth decay being a killer and leading to diabetes. Really?! Is that necessary? I overturned my diabetes and it had nothing to do with my teeth.
When all was done I was given an over 2k bill for what would need to be done after out of pocket. Just the crown was over $400. The dentist left and I was near tears wondering how I was going to pay for a root canal and crown on my broken tooth. The receptionist wasn't sure if they could break it up longer than 2 weeks so I asked her to get the dentist so we could ask. I thought our exchange was perfectly friendly. I waited quietly for 20 minutes for the dentist to return and was also friendly with him.
So I was surprised to get a letter saying I was rude to his staff and would not be seen again. The hygienist and I did have our issues because he was incredibly condescending and I was already feeling emotional about the dental visit. I take responsibility for that. But I had no issue with anyone else. I didn't especially want to come back but I found the whole experience pretty terrible.
