I would say my review is 3.5 stars. We had a pleasant stay, although it was not perfect.
First a tip - if you want to use the valet service, park your car around the block next to Branzino. Parking is $27 a day, but you can request your car whenever you need it.
The rooms are pretty simple but have everything you need. We upgraded to a suite that had a large amount of space and a jetted tub. We could not figure out how to get the jets working though.
The temperature ranged between 0 to -14 degrees Farenheit during our stay so the heat was on overdrive. The thick curtains will trap the heat though so watch out for that!
The big negative though was the room service. Our breakfast was awful. The bagel with lox was fine but the pastries were awful. Also the fruit cup sat for a while with pineapple that broke down the rest of the fruit. The items were way overpriced and we would have been better off venturing out into the frozen outdoors to get food.
Room service aside, I would recommend this hotel, particularly if you do not want to be in the middle of touristy old port.
