  • Let me preface by saying, experience was mostly my fault for not standing my ground. They employ every tactic in the book along with some shady practices (scroll towards bottom). I ended up buying a car here but for the wrong reasons. One of the cardinal rules of car buying is to "not invest too much time at the dealership". What that means is, when your salesman pulls the disappearing act for long periods of time - you should really just leave and come back when it is more convenient. The reason they do this is to get you to invest time so you feel compelled to not waste anymore time and purchase from them. I fell into it. It was black friday, i had already been shopping the valley for a month, and i was certainly anxious. Stumbled across a car i liked and had a fall back plan. So planned a visit here. Got there early before anyone else was there on BF and explained what i wanted and that i had already determined it. No test drive needed, no shopping needed, just give me bottom line price on both models with BF deal and let me decide. Well first the pulled the bait and switch. The car i liked had 'magically just sold' but they had this nearly similar model for the same price but less features.... Then the sale began.. Back and forth between me and back office, spent a whole lot of time trying to squeeze me for dollars that i was clear about. When we finally met on a deal his congratulatory gesture was very very artificial - it was clear that they were making money off of me somehow i just couldn't figure out how so i backed out of the deal and left. Called back to renegotiate over the phone and they pulled their tactics over the phone. "People are looking at your car, if you want it give me a down payment". I explained i was spending time with my family but they were persistently texting and calling. I decided on a slightly used, under 1k miles, car. I was discouraged to find out it wasn't certified given how new and used it was. Seemed like an easy candidate, but they told me it would cost $1000 to certify and was not worth it. When they handed me the carfax it said that once it was returned by the original owner (bought at the same dealership) it went through certification, so it was a CPO. When questioned they gave me some mumbo jumbo about how they ripped the CPO off so they could sell it cheaper and they'd put it back on for $500. I bought it! What a sucker. I paid them $500 to do nothing. We ended up going down to $250 but how shady is that. Would i do business here again? Probably not. Would i recommend to a friend? Negative. Given the frustration of having already done my homework ahead of time but having serious boundary failure and giving into the sales tactics employed by this joint I now have a new found appreciation for the 'one price' shops - do your business there if you can. You won't get a deal because their price is the bottom line.
