  • Save your time and do NOT go to this barber. I was visiting in town and it was the only shop open I could find near Freemont so I decided to go in for a mohawk. Sandra seemed perfectly pleasant at first, if a bit over talkative. I had described what I wanted and she worked on it for a while; but it took ENTIRELY too long. Most of that time was just chatting, not actually working or doing anything. A mohawk, to me, at most should take 30 minutes; trim, shave, style, done. When she turned me around so I could see what I want, I didn't like the way it looked (too wide). When I stated this, it was like a light switch went off and Sandra went from perfectly awkward to total crazy. She said I'd have to get a "second" haircut to get it the way I wanted and basically told me I was nuts for wanting my hair cut differently than the way she styled even saying "Don't tell anyone I did this to you". The next 10 minutes of work was done with her berating me. The entire experience was the most awkward and weird haircut of my life. She then proceed to charge me $40! A total ripoff, but I was pretty much willing to pay whatever she asked to get out of there. Caveat emptor!
