Went to this festival last night in hopes of enjoying a new experience.
Even getting to the main area, you could smell the stinky tofu, which was blowing downstream towards Kennedy and Steeles (this is not meant to be negative - it is understood that stinky tofu is popular).
Finally getting to the main area, most vendors had long lineups. Going around these lineups was difficult - felt like a packed sardine.
What was really disappointing was that some vendors had NO ENGLISH at their stalls, so there was no way of knowing what was being advertised, whether it was food, a sponsoring business, or something else. It seems that they only wanted to cater to those who knew the language, which was mainly Mandarin. For an event that is open to everyone and in Canada, you would hope that they would follow the language laws.
Feeling disappointed, walked into Pacific Mall nearby.
