| - My husband and I just stayed here for 4 days/3 nights. We like the location because it has a Monorail station, plus it is easy to get to from the airport. This was our first time staying at MGM Grand, though we have dined here several times before.
Check in was easy, and it was easy to find our room - the atria is clearly labeled with what floors each elevator goes to, and once you arrive on your floor each hallway is clearly labeled with what room numbers are on each hall.
We upgraded to a remodeled room and it was great. King bed, beautiful bathroom with waterfall shower pressure, hair dryer and makeup mirror. The bed was comfortable, the blackout shades made it perfectly dark, and the shower was hot and relaxing.
I only gave it 4/5 for two reasons: 1. Our room had a door to the adjoining room. There was a group of men in the next room who spoke VERY loudly each night and we could hear every word (in a different language, but nevertheless it was loud and annoying) 2. One day our towels weren't replaced during room servicing. We were able to get them the following morning from the housekeeping cart, and it was only a minor inconvenience.
Staff was pleasant, the hotel smelled fresh, and the signs made it easy for us to find whatever we needed. We will definitely consider staying here again, though we do like to try new places (this is our 6 hotel we've stayed at in Vegas thus far).
