| - 5/7/2018 - Update - No one has ever contacted me from LVVSC making my story and claims 100% true. They have a dangerous deranged mental case working inside this hospital, they know it and they don't care.
WARNING: Before you decide to take your pet here, be prepared to pay at least $2000 before anything begins. They give you a low end amount and a high end and you MUST pay the low end upfront.
I wish I would have read these reviews as I will always regret the day I walked in at 9 PM with an emergency. No one looked at and diagnosed my baby until 17 hours later, all on my dime, I guess they only have one cardiologist and he doesn't come in until the mornings but wasn't looked at until late afternoon. 2 days in an oxygen tank, only an Echo was done and put on other meds, I was told my baby was doing fine that day, eating and was good, then my baby mysteriously passed away at 4am and I will never know what happened, all she said was, he was very sick, that told me right there they were covering something up and that something went wrong. I suspect foul play and have a story worth contacting me for if you care about the future care you are in the business for.
Trying to settle up was another nightmare, took 2 days to settle, a very complicated bill to understand and there is a charge for everything you wouldn't even know what it is for, the bill was wrong, oxygen charges beyond my knowledge of understanding the way they break it up, meds were charged for that I had provided them with and I noticed an important medication that they were supposed to give him was not on the bill, strange all the way around here. Once again, another cover up and they managed to find a way to explain this too. It took a month to get my partial refund of $200 back on a $2000 bill for doing nothing in my eyes, highway robbery, shameful, I had to keep calling or I probably would have never received it. They lost all my expensive meds I brought in as well as I was going to donate them, unreal.
All and all, an extremely sloppy, careless and unorganized business here for what they charge. Very straight faced no personalities at the front desk and no compassion. Yes, this place is all about the money. In the morning when the cardiologist arrived to work, he called me to say sorry for my loss, he tried very hard to be compassionate but he had no answer as to what happened either. Never in a million years did I think I was not going back to pick him up and bring him home, heartbroken as I feel I know the truth.
