  • Glad to find a local restaurant for breakfast that is not a chain. I had read the reviews and was looking forward to standard American fare, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon. The food was average. Hashbrowns had a little too much oil, toast was not done enough. Eggs were good, bacon was cooked properly but the flavor was not my favorite. Normally with breakfast like that, coffee or tea is included. Not here. $1.89. Plus my first cup of hot water was not even warm enough to brew the tea. Our server didn't look like she was too thrilled to bring me some more hot water. Plus, I had to reuse the teabag I had tried the first time which is probably what made the tea so devoid of flavor.
