| - This is probably one of my go-to store for aquarium supplies/plants/fish. They have pond supplies, gold fish, freshwater plants (although very limited variety and often times they look like they've been sitting there for a while. the selections are usually good for beginners, not a lot of medium or advanced level plants) , and saltwater stuff. Freshwater tropical fish selection is ok. they have most of the tetras, cichild, although i've never seen them having cardinal tetra, the one of the most beautiful tetras in freshwater aquarium. If you are looking for some some rare breed, you most likely won't find them there. I was pretty excited tho when i found out this store because it is better than petsmart for sure in terms of water based pets. Their order is usually a little backed off. I've been waiting for moss for like forever and they haven't been able to get them in a long time. I have also wanted to get dwarf shrimps but they cost a fortune! 4 dollar a shrimp! I'm gonna get broke if I want to have a shrimp tank.. Also, DO wash your plants once you carry them home - some of the plants I bought from them carry little worms/pests with them. Thankfully I don't have a whole lot of uneaten fish food in my tank and my fish are generally not full, so they only survived for a week.
I'm not very familiar with saltwater supplies/fish/corals/reefs so I can't commend much on them but they don't have a whole lot on that. They do have a variety of stones/rocks for freshwater aquarium. Some birds and small mammals, cats available too.
Some staff are super friendly and super helpful, others are just so-so, or even look very tired. I didn't mind the slightly run-down feeling of the store because I focus more on the quality of their supplies and live pets. Overall, decently well kept but still definitely a lot more room to improve on. If you are one of the aquarium mania, this store will not satisfy your needs most likely because most of the stuff they have is only good for beginners. I would recommend buying more advanced stuff online or from local aquarium owners.
