rev:text	I am updating my review for ONLY the hotel room and service part of my previous review. We stayed at the Venetian the weekend of 12/21/12 and we stayed in one of their Prima suites. I had stayed in one of these rooms previously and was looking forward to the updates they had recently done to them. My children love using the huge jacuzzi style tub so that is one of the first things they wanted to do upon our evening arrival. After that everything went downhill. Upon draining the tub one of the sinks started to make a bubbling up type of sound then proceeded to back up creating a horrible sewage type smell. We immediately called to housekeeping which informed us that they would send someone up right away (this was at 8pm and mind you we still had not received our roll away which was requested when I made the reservation a month in advance). It was then 10pm and no one had shown up even after a couple more calls. Finally we just gave up and closed the bathroom door and put towels underneath so the smell would not come out. We called down and told them to just come tomorrow morning as we have children that were very tired. At this point we still had not received the roll away so I had to share the couchbed with one of my children. I then went down to the invited guest front desk area to let them know in person about the sink smell and they offered to take my roll away charge off the bill. Wow! You mean you will comp the rollaway that no one ever brought? Gee thanks! I was then told they were sorry and that was it. Turns out they ended up comping a $30 food charge the next day but still that was not even close to enough. How about comping my upgrade charge since I slept on a couch bed with my child and had to smell sewage for most of the night? Oh and lastly when I did ask for extra blankets for the couch bed since it had none on it they brought us some that appeared to be stained with blood. Needless to stay I will not be staying here again.
