  • We discovered this place by accident early one morning while waiting in line at REI for their famous sale of remaindered goods to get under way. First, my son Brendan and I happened upon it, and liked it so much that I dragged my wife over to share the experience of why we were so enthused. "This is a destination place for coffee!" she raved. In other words, it's worth driving to the South Side from East End, to enjoy the atmosphere as well as the brew.
