  • I called Dental Specialty Associate in Gilbert for exam and see if what treatment I need. The "smart" scheduler put me with the Surgeon instead of the Dentist who supposed to recommend what treatment I need including implants. When I saw the Surgeon he said, "Who referred to me? I said I just made an appointment. He said, I only do implants and I should see the dentist". So, I was told to come back in two hours to see the Dentist who would give me a treatment plan. Today, I found out that the office billed my insurance for the surgeon who told me he only does implant and spent with me few minutes and also billed me for the dentist visit which is the correct bill. I am waiting until they send me the surgeon bill so I could drag Dr. Lilien to small claim court for over billing. I am dead serious. The ignorant staff called my dental insurance for verification and because my Ameritas dental insurance said they don't coordinate benefits they told me your insurance don't pay anything and it is a waste of money to have it. So, I called my both dental insurance and asked them if the cover dental services and both said THEY DO regardless if I have one dental insurance or ten. They would pay regardless. The office staff including the office manager are a nightmare. I wonder if Dr. Berger and Dr. Lilien read the reviews.
