  • Lousy Customer Service with an attitude! Bought my son a protective mouthpiece for playing Football. The mouth guard had a defect that caused immediate pain with wearing it. Looking at it one can see the defect that would cause pain. At any rate I brought in the product with the one day old receipt and wanted to replace it. The response was that I had to deal with the manufacture located in Plymouth MN, and this store had no interest in helping provide a product that was damaged free. The lady clerk behind the counter was quite rude as she told me to call " Shock Doctor" to get a replacement or refund? I should have known it was going to be a bad experience. The person who was ahead of me had coupons that were a day out of expiration and the same lady clerk was more than happy with a smile to tell this customer that they were not going to honor them as she treated this lady with disrespect saying " You see the Date here in the small print on the back you should have checked here first before coming up to the register." Avoid this Sports Authority that is next to Chandler Fashion Mall !!! Go to Sport Chalet or even Dick's Sporting Goods !!!! They will honor any competitors coupon even if it is out of date by a short period! I have that experience with them. You are greeted and treated with respect at these stores unlike this "Rat Joint" that is not interested in keeping a customer. I needed to buy more equipment including gloves, practice pants, jersey, 7 piece pad set, and new cleats. Sports Authority's Failure to make good on a $ 10 mouth guard, I decided to go back to Sport Chalet off of Gilbert Road and spend the $ 275.00 that it took to get what I needed and they accepted my $ 5.90 reward coupon from Sports Authority as well!!
