  • Value Village here is known as Savers in the U.S. They are a for-profit organization so their prices are higher than other thrift stores but you can find many more designer items here. If you're patient and persistent, you can even find new items with tags on them. This is one of the larger VVs around which means larger selection of items as well (they have a large curtain section). At least once a month they have a big 50% off sale. If you are a Super Savers Club member, you can go the day before a sale and get the discount (go early because it gets pretty crowded later on in the day) Haven't run into any problems with the staff but I haven't needed to bother them for anything either.
