  • This is a definite hidden gem downtown....top notch steakhouse inside a 3rd rate casino. Be sure and ask about the all new distinctive dining deal.....at $49.95 its a great value . I had the iceberg wedge salad and it was very good. Wife had the beefsteak tomato and onion salad..a little weird=no lettuce. I had the 8 oz. filet mignon,...melt in your mouth delicious...wife had the sea bass with jumbo lump crab and loved it. my son opted for the rib eye steak off the regular menu and he was extremely pleased. we shared au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. everything was tasty. for dessert...the croissant bread pudding and the crème brulee come highly recommended. Our meal was enhanced by our waiter..patrick. he was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic. a waiter who obviously loves his job! we were amazed that for a prix fix meal..the portions were normal size huge.sometimes restaurants skimp on the prix fix..not here. ambiance here is all old vegas steakhouse with rat pack type music a little too loud for my taste. also parking here can be a problem. golden nugget parking garage was full....we considered just cancelling things but a valet at the nearby golden gate let us park there and we walked over. we all left vic and anthonys very happy.
