  • I've been hesitant to write my first review, waiting for something to blow me away. Lo and behold, I entered a hurricane with Poprock! When it comes to money, my wife calls me cheap, while I prefer the term economically efficient. When we discussed the wedding, she said a good photographer is something that's worth the investment because your photos are the key thing you will have to look back on when you get old. When we hired Tonya we didn't get good, we got great. As with most things with the wedding, I was clueless what we had hired Tonya for so I was very surprised when I saw her at the rehearsal. But like anytime I see Tonya, just seeing her put a smile on my face. I soon noticed it's not just me she has that effect on as she introduced herself to everyone in the wedding party and conversed with them. Throughout the evening, family would come up to me and tell me how they loved her after meeting her. The day of the wedding, my wife got ready at the Ballantyne Resort with Tonya catching every smile. Me and my groomsmen got ready at our house and every moment was caught by Jess. I forgot that part, Tonya called 2 weeks prior asking if it was ok if she brought another photographer. We said of course she could. Jess was great taking photos. He was so cool, we gave him the nickname Young J! During the ceremony, Tonya and Young J were every where taking photos and being helpful. Young J even danced doing the white boy shuffle. Who knew there was a white boy shuffle? lol. Poprock not only helped capture our special day, but they helped make our day even more special!
