  • It is so nice to have a place like this deep in the heart of Parkdale! The staff are friendly, the coffee is great, and the decor (and name) is inspired by one of the first black doctors in Toronto. The best part about the Abbott is that it doesn't feel like one of those ritzy coffee shops that is leading the push to gentrify Parkdale. This place really fits right in and welcomes everyone in the neighbourhood, not just the wealthier subset.
