(At the 186 Davenport location) I found this salon through a Groupon deal, but was convinced not to use the Groupon as I could get the same deal for a little more by just going straight through the salon. I spent a little extra thinking, why not let the salon make all my money. Big mistake!! The salon looked very nice inside, but already you could feel the pretentious air in the room. From the clients to the stylists who couldn't stop bragging about their penthouse suite, it was exactly like you would expect in the Davenport/Avenue area. I was there for a blowout and curl for my shoulder length hair. We discussed: lots of volume in the back and beach curls. After 2 hours of intense heat on my hair, I came out looking like a 5 old year with ringlets and volume in all the wrong places. Horrified, the stylist tried to tease it but it just got worse and frizzy. I honestly could have done a better job myself without 2 hours of heat damage. It also didn't help that other stylists were talking behind my back to their clients about how bad I looked and what a bad job she had done. Seriously?! Talk about unprofessional!
From the horrible stench of vinegar, poor customer service, inexperience with medium length hair, and stuck-up attitudes, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
