I've been here multiple times, and it's always satisfying.
I have been to the Southern Highlands branch and both restaurant have great decor and a lovely staff.
Today I had the Cup O'Bread and the Rib Eye Steak Chilaquiles and boy, was it tasty. I asked for a medium rare steak and did they deliver! The steak was juicy and nicely charred on the outside, giving it an authentic smokey taste. Though this may have been the main part of the dish, the ranchero chips may have slightly outperformed the steak. Their chips are housemade and seasoned with a multitude of spices, with a basis that seems to be paprika and cayenne pepper. The chips laid on a bed of refried beans and was topped with eggs (any style you choose), avocado, cheddar and cotija cheese. The chips were still crunchy and was served with a side of sour cream and salsa. I recommend getting overeasy eggs, so when you break the yolk it adds an extra sauce to your chips.
Overall a very wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back!
