rev:text	I am so happy to have found Fountain Hills Air Conditioning & Heating! The hubby and I had them come out for an estimate (we live near Thomas & 52nd Street; we were worried that would be too far out, but it wasn't a problem) for a second opinion after a huge company gave us a $6,300 estimate and told us that basically our entire ventilation system in our good-condition 1955 ranch home had to be rebuilt with new, custom parts fabricated. The main problem was air was only coming in to our front living and dining room and not reaching any of the back four bedrooms or the kitchen. Thank goodness we called Fountain Hills! Dan, the friendly, extremely knowledgeable technician who came out to do the estimate, found out the problem had mostly been addressed already. We do need to install another return, but he figured out a "mystery vent" in one of the other rooms was really a return with the wrong register and not connected and that we we needed to put two filters in the other return (it's not obvious the way it's set up). In short, he gave us a much better estimate for under $2,000. But this review isn't based on just the lower price, because who doesn't like saving money? We were so impressed with Dan's knowledge; he clearly had seem far more different kinds of systems than the first company we dealt with and knew how to problem-solve. He took the time to measure output from every vent, go into the attic, and even took pictures and walked us through them when he was done. It never felt like he was rushing or in a hurry to get somewhere else. It was just clear we were dealing with someone who had a sincere in helping us find a long-term, affordable solution and who wasn't trying to upsell us.
